  is it good to run\train with the knee strap?
  or it just for light use?

• How does the ProCare Surround Patella Knee Strap compare to the DonJoy Cross Strap Knee Brace. I know both are made by DonJoy. Is there a big difference?
• Thank you for your question. Both will provide inferior patellar stabilization and help alleviate pain by applying pressure to the tendon. The DonJoy version will wrap around from the back and cross over the front of the tendon before it Velcro's down. The Procare version will wrap from the front to the back. There are additional pulls coming off the front to add tension and Velcro down on the sides.

  I recommend an XL, since you are right at the border. An XL you will provide you more flexibility.

• The procare patellar knee strap - do you slip it on over your foot or does it have a velcro closure in the back?
• It does not slip over the foot and up as it is a strap, it is applied directly to the tendon and secured down with velcro.

• does it work on the direct point it is on such as you have a pain right below your knee cap will it compress it or take the pain away?
  
• The strap uses direct pressure on the patella tendon, (tendon that connects the knee cap to the shin) to help relieve knee pain caused by patella tendonitis, chondromalacia and Osgood Schlatter.
